Railroad Remedies was established in March of 2016 by the owner/president Sandra Scarlata.

As of 2019, Gov. Asa Hutchinson signed a bill decriminalizing hemp-derived cannabidiol or CBD in Arkansas. Following the bill, the purchase and distribution of various forms of CBD products are no longer punishable according to law.  This makes it easy for everyone to access CBD.

Meanwhile, the 2018 Farm Bill also became a significant contributor to the city of Arkansas. CBD derived from hemp is now considered an agricultural product instead of a controlled drug. Therefore, residents will find all forms of CBD everywhere in Arkansas.

To clarify, Arkansas allows CBD with less than 0.3% THC levels as imposed by the Industrial Hemp Act of 2017. On the other hand, users who want to use CBD with higher concentration levels of THC must present a doctor’s permit explaining why CBD is the only treatment that offers them relief.

 Railroad Remedies  was established by owner/president Sandra Scarlata. Railroad Remedies has been producing hemp products since March of 2016, however Sandra has been in the industry for nearly 8 years. In this time, she has acquired the equipment, locations, experience and knowledge necessary to produce consistent, high-quality CBD and secondary products.

Sandra grew up in Eugene, Oregon and moved to Ca upon graduation in search of her desired career in skin and health care. She landed that dream job working for a high end skincare company at age 20 and stayed for 26 years. Sandra worked her way to the top assisting the owner/developer in creating the companies exclusive products and treatments. Sandra also owned and operated a med spa in Brea, Ca. Her passion for creating products that would help with pain, anxiety, and inflammation all come from a personal journey to find a cure for a rare hereditary neuropathy disease (Charcoat Marie Tooth Disease) that she suffers from and has passed on to her 3 children. This disease eats away at the myelin sheath and causes nerve damage to the extremities, and currently has no cure.

With Sandra’s extensive knowledge on ingredients, cutting edge products, cultivation and extraction, she had a dream. This dream was to create products that would help relieve many ailments using only top quality ingredients. While many other companies use synthetic ingredients and harmful chemicals, RXR strives to not cut corners in expense by using substandard ingredients and always chooses organic when available. Sandra strives to create products with healing in mind and cares greatly about the toxins in our environment that can cause us so much harm. RXR does not use any chemical pesticides or additional additives that could pose a problem to the consumer. She is always on the search for the most advanced, natural ingredients and vows to make every product with love and care to help promote optimum wellness in you.
